Game of Trees: A Simple Git-Based Version Control System from OpenBSD

Game of Trees – Git-based version control from OpenBSD folks

We have released Game of Trees 0.127, a version control system designed by OpenBSD developers that prioritizes simplicity over flexibility. Built on top of Git repositories, it allows seamless collaboration between Got and Git while remaining under active development. Our goal is to provide an easier workflow for OpenBSD developers, with the software freely available under a BSD license for everyone to use and reuse.

No mention of openbsd on the internet is complete without a long thread about source control migration.

Seems driven primarily by wanting a BSD licensed option. The OpenBSD folks are very talented but are also very ideologically driven. I'm not sure this will get a lot of attention but it is nice seeing another option.

    Sounds cool.

What should we call the magit equivalent for got? Magot? Maggot?
