Clever Hacker Fits 537,000 Domains in a Tiny $5 ESP32 Ad-Blocking Dongle

I built a network ad blocker using a cheap $5 ESP32 dongle that stores over half a million domains. The custom firmware runs on just 50KB of RAM and blocks unwanted lookups in under 10 milliseconds, proving powerful filtering doesn't require expensive hardware.

The firmware uses only around 50KB of RAM and can answer blocked lookups in 10 milliseconds.
