Indian Scientists Map Human Brainstem in Unprecedented 3D Detail

Our team at the Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre created Anchor, the world's most detailed 3D atlas of the human brainstem. By combining over 500 tissue sections from different life stages, we bridge the gap between whole-brain MRI scans and cellular pathology. This free digital tool allows researchers to zoom from the entire organ down to individual neurons, offering new insights into Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and stroke.

What the Indian centre has created is essentially what I dreamed of early in my career - to have brain scans match the brain's microscopic anatomy.

I am sure this is great but it requires some depth in that field to appreciate this. I don’t understand if what they developed is a tech to do a live scan of any person or just a detailed map of one brain.
