Harman and Dr. Sean Olive Reshape Headphone Sound with Spatial Audio
Harman and Dr. Sean Olive are reshaping headphone sound

I toured the Harman Experience Center to see how Dr. Sean Olive and his team are revolutionizing audio. We explored the massive Hyperion Sphere used for spatial audio research and discussed the industry-changing Harman Target curve. From refining headphone tuning to honoring a legacy of sound, this visit revealed the science behind the music we love.
If a headphone is tuned to the Harman curve, it doesn't mean everyone will like it, but it allows you to say, 'I like a little more low-end than the Harman curve,' as opposed to just claiming a set of headphones sounds pretty good.

Is there a limit to how good a sound people can appreciate? Like the guy who has his own electric supply, can he really hear the difference or is he tricking himself mentally into believing there is a difference?

"Now, Mr. Olive...."
"DOCTOR Olive! I didn't spend 6 years in evil audiophool school to be called Mister, thank you very much."
