Ethics Is the Skill That Matters Most Now
As AI automates writing, coding, and analysis, technical skills are becoming commoditized while ethical judgment becomes the critical differentiator. I argue that ethics is a trainable skill involving noticing moral dimensions, reasoning through conflicts, and owning second-order effects. With AI amplifying both good and bad intent at industrial scale, the ability to decide what should be done matters more than ever, especially when systems reward manipulation over integrity.
Intelligence is being automated. Judgment is not.
