Stop saying that AI is just a tool and it only matters how it is used

I argue that calling AI 'just a tool' is a dangerous oversimplification that ignores how technology shapes our society and humanity. Tools are never neutral; they dictate behavior, create systemic issues, and flatten our ability to think critically. We must stop focusing solely on individual usage and instead interrogate how AI is designed, built, and how it fundamentally alters our existence.
