Vibez - Open-source Rust-based DAW with Perform, Arrange, Mix workspaces

Vibez is an open-source digital audio workstation written in Rust that reimagines music production with three integrated workspaces: Perform, Arrange, and Mix. In Perform, you launch reusable multitrack sections from a 16-pad grid with MPC-style swing. Arrange captures your live performance into editable clips and automation lanes, timed to the audio engine's sample clock. Mix offers a real console with per-channel EQ, buses, sends, and support for VST3 and CLAP plugins. Ideal for live performers and producers seeking a fast, keyboard-driven workflow, Vibez is available for Linux, macOS, and Windows, with direct downloads and source code on GitHub.

Capture is the hinge between performance and arrangement: it turns a live performance into editable material you could have drawn by hand.

I am 100% for creating software that you find interesting with LLMs, but you need to do better product marketing to get anybody interested in trying it out. Two things:

    a) Write the copy yourself. "hinge", "saying it plainly", etc. Nobody wants to read unedited LLM text on a website.

    b) Make a video of you using the software. Show why it's interesting.

You know how you sometimes see an article and realize quickly it was written by an LLM so you close the tab instead of reading it? I just had my first experience doing that with an entire website.

to me, that is an extremely idiosyncratic way to think about constructing songs or even beats or parts.
