Tidal Cycles is a free/open-source live coding environment for algorithmic patterns, written in Haskell and using SuperCollider for synthesis and MIDI. It enables musicians to create flexible sequences of sounds, notes, and parameters through code, and has inspired a family of similar environments, including the web-based Strudel.
