Remote workers report highest well-being in study of 7,700 employees

A new study of 7,704 employees at a large healthcare organization found that fully remote workers reported the highest well-being, while onsite workers reported the lowest. Contrary to common concerns, remote workers felt just as connected to colleagues and culture. The study, published in Frontiers in Psychology, suggests that flexibility and autonomy are key to employee satisfaction and retention.

Taking away people's choice of how they work is probably not going to help them in terms of their well-being.
