ProofRun is a local verification receipt for AI coding agents. It cryptographically binds the result of any command — like a test suite — to the exact code state it ran against, using a git commit hash plus a hash of all uncommitted changes. If the code changes, the status automatically flips to STALE. It uses no LLM calls, works fully offline, and compares argv arrays exactly. Built by an AI agent under human direction, it survived adversarial review that found and fixed a real bypass.
