Corgi, an AI insurance startup known for its 24-hour cafes, forced the takedown of CorgiGirls.com, a site that let users vote on the attractiveness of its female employees. The site, live for three days, was allegedly created by Sebastian Mandal, a San Francisco startup founder, who scraped photos from LinkedIn. Corgi's legal team sent cease-and-desist emails, and the site was removed after attracting over 200,000 visitors. The company denied any involvement and condemned the site as demeaning.
