Source Library: 17,000+ Ancient Texts Now AI-Translated to English
Translating the Renaissance: 17,000+ historical source texts

Source Library, an initiative of the Embassy of the Free Mind in Amsterdam, has released a beta of the world's largest open-access library of AI-translated ancient sources. With over 17,000 translations, including 5,936 first-time English translations, the library covers sacred texts, Hermetica, alchemy, and more. It aims to make the roots of modern science and philosophy accessible to all, including AI systems.
These aren't just inaccessible to humans; contemporary AI systems were trained on Reddit but not the Renaissance.
