I'm Switching My Phone from Android to Linux

Frustrated with Google's direction for Android—from Play Services tracking to locked-down device trees and AI bloat—the author jumps ship to SailfishOS on a Fairphone 4. While praising its gesture navigation and Linux-like SSH access, they note outdated Python/glibc, broken Waydroid/GPS, and a slop-coded WhatsApp client.
