Why Online Friends Are Often More Real Than In-Person Connections
Online Friends Are Real Friends

I met my closest friends on Reddit and Instagram, proving that digital bonds can be as deep as physical ones. While I value casual acquaintances, my online relationships offer unique vulnerability and genuine connection without the pressure of convenience. These friends, scattered across countries like Germany and Russia, support me through tough times and share personal goals, often knowing me better than those I meet in person.
Maybe that's why my online friendships can often be realer than my IRL ones, as I find it easier to be vulnerable when I'm behind a screen.
