Boosting GPU Performance with Texture Lookup for Bézier Curves
A Texture Lookup Approach to Bézier Curve Evaluation on the GPU (JCGT)

We present a technique using fixed-function linear texture interpolation to evaluate Bézier curves on the GPU. By offloading this task to the texture interpolator, we improve performance in compute-bound workloads. Our method extends naturally to Bézier surfaces, volumes, B-splines, and NURBS. We also demonstrate how Seiler interpolation fits into this framework and compare our results against standard polynomial evaluations in shader code.
