After four years as a loyal customer, I decided to cancel my Hey subscription following DHH's recent blog post comparing Roma people to wolves. While I believe in mistake theory and avoiding public shaming, I cannot support a business partner who advocates for mass deportation without acknowledging individual innocence. The post's tone and factual errors regarding enforcement alternatives crossed a line for me, proving that friendship and business partnership are not the same.
