Geekbench 7 Launches with Smarter Multi-Core and New Media Workloads

We have released Geekbench 7, featuring redesigned multi-core tests that reflect real-world application behavior rather than artificial threading. New media workloads measure audio and video encoding with AV1 and Opus, while the GPU benchmark now supports CUDA alongside OpenCL, Vulkan, and Metal. We also expanded data sets to match modern file sizes and added game physics testing with the Jolt Physics engine.

Not every task in the real world is multi-threaded, and pretending otherwise distorts scores without telling you anything useful about your device.
