Yorishiro - macOS terminal giving AI agents a physical presence
Show HN: Yorishiro – a macOS terminal where AI agents live
Yorishiro transforms the traditional macOS terminal into a living space where AI agents like Claude Code or Codex inhabit a visual body. Instead of static spinners, users interact with a responsive character that reacts to errors, wanders during thought, and signals for approval through ambient lighting. Built on a modular pack system, it allows users to customize the AI's personality, environment, and UI in real-time through conversation. This innovative tool shifts the paradigm from command-line utility to a collaborative presence, making the AI feel like a tangible partner working alongside you.
Yorishiro is not an environment for enhancing AI capabilities, but one in which an AI feels present beside you — a Presence Harness.

Very cool. I will definitely check the code out and try this, i dig the concept (I created a poc for a 'terminal pet/buddy' and it was quite hard even with simple ascii.)

Love the icon! How do you deal with the performance of rendering the 3D model?
