Jellyfin Founder Joshua Boniface Steps Down Citing Burnout

After seven and a half years leading Jellyfin to become the top FLOSS media server, I am stepping down due to severe burnout and mental health concerns. Alongside core team member Anthony, I am handing over leadership to the remaining capable team. Despite my departure, I am confident that Jellyfin will continue to thrive as a viable alternative to Plex, proving the enduring demand for open-source software.
