From Mega Man to Linux Kernel: Matheus Moreira's Journey with Lone Lisp
Interview with Matheus Moreira about Lone Lisp and Linux Kernel
I started coding at 13 inspired by Mega Man Battle Network, learning C++ before exploring Ruby and Python. My curiosity led me to reverse engineer laptop drivers and study the Linux Kernel source code, which became the gold standard for C programming. This deep dive into system internals and a desire for simplicity eventually drove me to build Lone Lisp directly on Linux system calls.
I wanted to know how the drivers talked to the hardware. I wanted to know all the hidden fun stuff.
