A Farewell to ARPs: Running IPv4 on IPv6-Only Networks
A Farewell to ARPs: IPv4 Service on IPv6-Only Networks

I propose a new IETF standard to eliminate ARP and IPv4 subnets from modern networks. By using a single sentinel address, we can run native IPv4 over IPv6-only infrastructure without translation or tunneling. This approach solves the operational pain of dual-stack networks while maintaining full backward compatibility with existing systems.
