I have created the Beavis Ultrasound, a fully open source replica of the legendary Gravis Ultrasound PnP ISA sound card. Unlike other clones, this project includes the complete schematic and reverse-engineered source code for the GAL chip. While the design relies heavily on the AMD InterWave chip, I have not yet fabricated or tested the board, so building it is at your own risk. I provide detailed assembly notes, including component substitutions and programming instructions for the necessary EEPROM and GAL devices.
