Apple and Broadcom Partner for $30 Billion U.S. Chip Manufacturing Push

Apple has announced a massive new multiyear agreement with Broadcom to design and produce custom silicon components in the United States. This $30 billion commitment will drive the production of over 15 billion U.S.-made chips and support hundreds of American jobs. The deal includes a $1.5 billion investment to expand Broadcom's manufacturing facility in Fort Collins, Colorado, as part of Apple's broader American Manufacturing Program to build a domestic supply chain.

"The cutting-edge components built in Fort Collins are essential to delivering the incredible performance and connectivity our customers expect, and we're proud to deepen our investments in U.S.-based suppliers that share our commitment to excellence and innovation."
